Winter Solstice Sunrise

This was taken Friday morning, the last day of fall. Sure looks like the heart of winter, doesn't it? The days will start getting longer, and the nights a bit shorter. As the old year comes to a close, we look ahead to the new year and all it has to offer. As many wish for a better way of living, we all should look around us at the happiness that is at our fingertips, and cherish every day, especially when they start out as beautiful as this one was. Merry Christmas everyone, and Happy New Year, too.

Special night, special friends
