Father's Day Fun..

The weather cooperated, for the best part if the day. It was breezy, but sunny. The kids didn't have any trouble getting into the pool for a swim.

Brennan's mother didn't get the best of him and his full head of hair. He would have no part of an elastic in his hair!

Wedding gifts.......

Home brews with specialty labels. Barker Pond, 7/21/12.

My scientist! Ken tried to capture the passing of a planet in front of the sun.
I think I can see it! How about you?
On a more patriotic note, I love my stars and strips that adorn the front of my house! Sometimes I wish I had more way of showing the love of my country!

Once again
Remember those warm days in May? The kids thought the pool was warm enough, and decided to take the plunge! What fun they had! I only wish it had continued to get warmer, each day.
Lexy, still remembers how to swim!
All four, at the steps. They are changing, and growing up, way too fast for me!

Transportation

This past year, Ken has had the privilege of transporting Brooklynn to and from PreK. On the "from" part of the trip, they made a few stops along the way, to see some things. Here they are at the swim front where Ken used to teach swimming lessons. She knew the story, and of Papa's past, but enjoyed the stop before being dropped off at day care. From there, they would go to the post office to gather the mail.

At this point in the trip, Brook would read the names on the envelopes to see who got the most mail...Papa or Mammie. She can read the names, and could keep track of who got the most mail! Not bad for PreK!
