Thoughtful Day

Today, I had a wonderful visit with a childhood friend at the lake in Dexter. It was a perfect "camp" day, and we sat and chatted for hours. I am so fortunate to have such wonderful friends in my life. These friends are there for me, offering me so much support, both physically and mentally, in my crazy life. Of course my biggest supporter is my husband, who is always there for me. Life gives you so many setbacks, and offers a variety of options, and Ken has always been there to support me, regardless of the offer. Without him, I am quite sure, I would have caved by now. Today's visit once again, instilled the belief that life is not about money or things, but about feeling great about what you are, and appreciating all the things you have, like friendships, and happiness, and the successes that you have found in your life. My grandchildren certainly are one of the great successes in my life, and knowing that I have them makes life quite grand! Thanks to my wonderful friends, my beautiful grandchildren, and my best friend, Ken. I love you all.
